One of the easiest treks in Ladakh, the Spituk trek offers an excellent opportunity to explore ancient monasteries and culturally rich villages. The trek, accessible from Leh, includes a climb to Stok La at 4,900 meters and offers stunning views of peaks like Stok Kangri (6,115m), Kang Yatse (6,400m), and the Zanskar Range. From high passes, one can also witness the Karakoram and Nun Kun Range (above 7,000m).

Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi - Leh
- ●Early morning flight from Delhi to Leh (approx. 2 hours)
- ●Transfer to hotel for acclimatization
- ●Rest for the entire day
- ●Dinner and overnight stay at hotel/guest house
Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing
- ●Visit Hemis, Shey, and Thiksey Monasteries
- ●See the 12m Shakyamuni Buddha statue at Shey Gompa
- ●Explore Thiksey and Hemis Monasteries
- ●Return to guest house for overnight stay
Day 3: Leh - Spituk - Zingchen
- ●Morning drive to Spituk (8 km)
- ●Trek starts at the Indus bridge near Spituk Village
- ●Walk towards Zingchen Gorge
- ●Set up camp upon arrival
- ●Evening exploration of the area
- ●Dinner and overnight in tents
Day 4: Rumbak - Stok La - Camp Site
- ●Ascend the 4,900m Stok Pass (Namlung La)
- ●Enjoy stunning views of the surroundings
- ●Camp overnight at a plateau below the pass
- ●Dinner and overnight in tents
Day 5: Camp Site - Stok - Leh
- ●Easy descent following the stream northward
- ●Enjoy views of willows and wild roses along the way
- ●Arrive at Stok, visit Stok Palace
- ●Drive back to Leh
- ●Overnight stay at guest house
Day 6: Leh - Delhi
- ●Morning flight to Delhi
- ●Optional drive to Manali or Srinagar can be arranged
